Notices

• There is no meeting on July 21st.
• Final paper is due on July 28th. Question:
  Discuss a concrete social example in which risk estimation or management is at issue (such as accident, safety management of food etc.), analyzing the case using various viewpoints from philosophy, psychology, STS etc. The final paper should reflect the instructor's comments to the paper proposal.

  Length:
  in English: about 4000 words
  in Japanese: about 10000characters
  

  How to submit

  Due date is July 28th, 5pm.
  Two ways of submitting the final paper.
  (1) Deposit the printed out version to the “report deposit” in front of instructor’s office (Bunkei-kyodo Kan Room 503), or
  (2) you can also submit the project via e-mail (tiseda@bun.kyoto-u.ac.jp). I will respond to you on receipt of the e-mail; if you do not receive my response, please assume that your message did not go through.
